Educator/Trainer/Facilitator/ Learning Designer
Expert Science teacher & School-based Department Chairperson that specializes in the hybrid classroom experience. Strengths incorporate employing technology as a useful tool within the classroom setting to enhance teacher-led instruction and student engagement. As School-based Department Chairperson, I lead schoolwide professional development opportunities on how teachers can gain abilities in utilizing technology more efficiently in their classrooms by using learning management system platforms. My expertise is in classroom management and building a positive rapport with all students to gain their trust in the learning process. Adept in formulating strategic science curriculum and pacing guides used throughout the district based on data analysis of student formal and informal assessments. Proficient in meeting all student's needs by using differentiated instruction and the gradual release model to scaffold instruction. Ambitious and driven science educator that is always looking to learn and use new trending instructional methods with fidelity in the classroom. Experience in both Adult and K-12 curriculum design & educational learning theories.
